Do not ignore the mobile web.
In 2008, for the first time ever, mobile access to the Internet exceeded desktop computer-based access (source: International Telecommunications Union, Oct 2009). Since the birth of the iPhone and other mobile devices, people browse the web in a new way...from their smart phones. We created Gallerytopia with two people in mind: The photographer and the photographer's client. Whether it's an art director on location needing to pull up your website or a bride at lunch with friends wanting to show off photos from her shoot with you, we have you have covered.
It's imperative that your website is visible to everyone. Before we created Gallerytopia, we worked with several photographers. What we found to be common among them was that almost all of their websites were not visible on smart phones. A majority of them had Flash websites which cannot be seen on most mobile devices, especially the iPhone. With that in mind, we wanted to create mobile websites for photographers.
